Your Role
Your main responsibility will be managing indirect purchase. The role as Purchaser includes tactical purchasing in combination with operational and administrative tasks. You will manage mainly local spend including one of our largest sites, as well as act upon synergies identified within Ecophon global and the rest of the Saint Gobain group.
General Description and responsibilities
- Lead supplier negotiations and tenders – considering competitive prices, services, and quality as part of best total set up.
- Analyze spend, act on opportunities and business needs.
- Contract management and ensuring contracts are properly executed.
- Work in ERP and with supplier selection, validation, supplier set up, data management and performance follow up.
- Close collaboration with internal stakeholders including providing support on the indirect purchase process and activities.
- Support on administrative tasks and coordinate external & internal information.
- Ensure supplier compliance and that internal purchasing policies and routines are followed.
About you
- You describe yourself as analytic, structured, self-driven and result oriented.
- You have a collaborative, service minded and agile mindset, and it comes natural for you to build relations with suppliers as well as stakeholders and colleagues.
- You like the variation of this job and enjoy working with tactical purchasing in combination with operational and administrative tasks. It is further natural for you to take lead on tasks in a coordinative style.
- You have the ability to get things done – “A doer” – as well think “new” and contribute to the future journey.
Competence
- You bring experience of indirect purchasing, negotiations, contract management and track records of developing relationships.
- You have a higher education, preferably within the purchase or logistics field or comparable working experience from the industry or other larger companies.
- Fluent in Swedish and good oral and written proficiency in business English
- Skills in Excel, Power Point, ERP systems – preferably from M3 or SAP
