Your Role

We are now looking for a Purchasing Analyst for the Global Strategic Purchasing Department in Ecophon. The role is new within Ecophon and You will be a key contributor in shaping the future in a new category led purchasing organization.

You will work cross-functionally and across organizations within Ecophon and Saint-Gobain Group to manage purchasing analytical tasks, optimize operations, work for simplifying complexities as well as enhance user experience.

As part of your scope you will analyze, create presentations, develop, and improve tools to support purchasing performance tracking and business development, as well promote utilization of Saint-Gobain solutions. Altogether, this will enable excellent steering and support in decision making for Ecophon purchasing.

General Description and main responsibilities

  • Support in KPI development, data management, performance tracking & dashboards as well as monthly reports.
  • Analyze trends & deviations and translate into insight for decision making.
  • Support in identifying synergies, tender processes, and other value chain improvement opportunities.
  • Support in areas of Supplier Compliance

About you

As a person you are highly analytical, with the ability to navigate in a global environment and simplify and visualize complex topics. You enjoy working with others and is known to be a good communicator. In addition, you are structured, pro-active, self-driven and result oriented as well as being curious and future oriented, with a strong interest in digital development.

Competences

  • Successful track record from a similar role.
  • University degree, preferably within purchase, finance or supply chain field or comparable working experience from the industry or other larger companies.
  • Good oral and written proficiency in business English
  • Demonstrated proficiency in Excel, Power Point, ERP systems (preferably from M3 or SAP) as well Data management.
